The current RPI analyses (2014-2023) include data from 80 fall and spring count sites and include 1068 trend estimates for 29 diurnal raptor species. We present results for all of North America, and for four regions (West, Central, East, and Gulf). These analyses represent the most current and extensive assessment of the status of migratory raptor populations in North America. Our research is possible thanks to the contributions of data and time by the 80 participating monitoring sites, including their coordinators and counters, and the in-kind efforts of the RPI partner organizations. Results are viewable by map and species combinations, by count site specific graphs for each species, and are synthesized in trend summary index (TSI) plots and short species conservation assessment reports. More information about how to interpret the plots and a detailed description of the methods used can be found here.
